Sand dryer, Sand Muller, Shell moulding Machines, Shell core shooter, Shot blasting machine, Pedestal Grinders, Swing Grinder, Pneumatic Grinder, Hand Grinders, 100KVA Generator as stand by. Machining and Fabrication set up is at Unit No. 2, Honga Industrial Estate. The unit is well equipped with milling M/c, Lathes, Shaping machine, Radial drilling machine, Tube bending machine, Welding Machine etc. Gas cutter, Muffle Furnace for shrink fitting and 100 KVA Generator as stand by.
Quality Assurance Well equipped Analytical Chemical Laboratory, Sand Testing equipments, Temperature Indicator with Carbon, Silicon Analyzer, Pressure Testing equipments, D. P. Test, Tensile Testing Machine with hardness testing facility etc.
Manufacturing Process Before starting the process the patterns are checked dimensionally as well as aesthetically for any dentsor burrs. The moulding sand is checked for permeability, sand etc. After moulding, the mould hardness is checked before closing the moulds. Parallely the charging is made in the furnace, the metal is checked for chemical with the help of spectrometer. The metal is tapped after checking the temperature with temperature indicator by adding inoculant. The metal is poured in the moulds with the help of ladles by taking proper safety precautions. The casting is knocked out after the mould is cooled and sent for shot blasting. After shot blasting the casting is taken up for further process like grinding, heat treatment, machining, assembly, packing etc. At every stage proper inspection both visual as well as dimensional as per the inspection plans. While the castings get ready for dispatch, parallel destructive & non destructive test are carried out.
